Quilt 7102133TBA rare example of a "Friendship Quilt" which is signed by each of the women who made it and by the two "state home agents" who organized and taught the women to make a quilt. Each of the quilt blocks is also hand painted with the favorite flower of each of the women using textile paint (color fast). The women were farmers' wives in rural Kirksville, Missouri.
