Owl Andirons 4132314TBA pair of cast iron andirons with original glass eyes (one eye shows a slight almost imperceptible scratch). Light from the fireplace glows through the eyes bringing the owls to life. Several American foundries manufactured these during the 19th and early 20th centuries and this pair has a seldom found mark indicating the date of manufacture (copyright Sept 14, 1887- see photos).
