Scarce figural cast iron andirons in the shape of sitting cats with green glass marble eyes through which the fire glows, accompanied by their very rare original cast iron three piece fire tool set comprised of a shovel, broom and poker in their original cast iron stand. The tool handles also in the shape of sitting cats measure 5 3/4"H. and have rhinestone eyes. The andirons measure 16"H. X 16" D. X 6 3/4" W. Manufactured by the Tenn Chrome Plate Co. of Nashville Tennessee and labeled. Circa 1920, in excellent original condition, $1250.00 the complete set.
