A carved head of a man wearing a cap, possibly a pirate or character from Dickensian England, very well carved (exceptional detail of the face) and nicely patinated from years of being touched, made from a single branch, in very good condition with only a few minor age cracks that do not weaken it, 33 1/2", late 19th century England.
