Owl Fireplace Tools
A rare set of iron and brass Fireplace Tools, early 20th Century, made by the Howes foundry of Boston Ma. which manufactured fine quality fireplace equipment in the 19th and early part of the 20th century. The set comprises a stand, tongs, poker and shovel each with a cast iron handle with a brass finish that is partially worn. The handles are in the form of owls. There is an accompanying broom with brass handle that is non-original. The stand measures 7" X 9 1/2" at the base and is 26 1/2" H. The tools are all sound and functional. The set may be purchased with one of our Owl Form Andiron Sets, listed on our website.
