One of the finest campaign chest/desk produced - a fold out desk with interior drawers - burled elm interior - the case is in two sections with brass carring handles, standing on original turned feet - the primary and secondary woods are camphorwood - the drawer fronts are veneered with burled elm - trimmed with banding of ivory - mid 19th century.
