Papier mache tray with hand painted scene, stamped on back "Jennens & Bettridge" with a crown symbol. They were premier makers of papier mache goods in England which were also exported to India and the United States. Excellent original condition, circa 1825, rare size suitable as an end table, on a modern custom bamboo turned stand. Height 21-3/4", 15"x18".
