Rare pair, "Rose of Sharon", applique with extensive and very fine quilting of diamonds, vines and stars, with shells done in an unusual "puffed" technique, cotton with thin batting, signed and dated "Belle Dunlap and Lizzie Keller 1933", 60" x 80" and 58" x 80", 10 stitches per inch quilting, 14 stitches per inch on the applique, no tears, stains or fraying, professionally washed.
