Rare and Exceptional American Victorian Renaissance Revival Picture Frames, circa 1870, with original incised surface decoration on an Ebonized Band and with a Gilded Molded Gesso Outer Border and Fillet, with an original gilt edge mat. DIMENSIONS: 32" X 37" Overall, 1 1/2" Frame Depth, 4 1/4" Frame Width, 23 1/2"X 28 1/2" Frame Opening at the front, not including the original gilt edge mat, 24 3/4" X 29 3/4" Rabbet Dimensions. Oval Mat Opening: 21" X 25 7/8" with gold leaf edge and pine backboard. In very good condition. All joints are tight, all surfaces are original and show very minor wear consistent with their age and careful use.
